  • Membership is valid for 12 months from the start date, which is normally the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed at the time of joining (e.g., when a gift membership is purchased). Entitlement to become a member is entirely at the discretion of the CLT.
  • Members are entitled to enjoy any membership benefits and discounts available once they receive their membership pack (normally within 7 days). This includes free parking on our sites and discounts at local leisure operators (these are subject to change).
  • Parking for members is up to a maximum continuous stay of 72 hours across all car parks. Return visits are not permitted until a period of time equal to the previous parking stay has elapsed.
  • Members are responsible for keeping the Cotswold Lakes Trust informed as to their correct vehicle registration (VRM) at all times. Should this be provided incorrectly, or vehicle(s) changed without updating us, a parking charge notice (PCN) may be issued by the car park operator, which the Trust is unable to cancel.  The Trust cannot be held responsible or financially liable for any PCNs issued under such circumstances.
  • Membership is not transferable and only named members may use the membership card and enjoy membership benefits. CLT and leisure operators offering discounts to CLT members reserve the right to ask members for additional ID, in order to protect bona fide members’ interests and ensure the membership scheme is not abused.
  • Members are entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and have voting rights.   Notification of the date, time and location of the AGM will be communicated to members via email and/or letter and published on our website.
  • A membership will be considered to have lapsed when due payment has not been made and all member benefits cease until membership has been renewed.
  • Members agree to support the aims of the Cotswold Lakes Trust and not seek to publicly discredit our work or bring the name of the Trust into disrepute. Any member deemed to be behaving in such a way will have their membership cancelled without refund.
